Hanging / Bracket Mounts

Hanging and Bracket-Mounted LED Signs

Most outdoor LED signs are installed on poles, monuments, or walls. However, in certain cases, you may choose to install a sign using hanging systems or bracket mounts. These methods are best suited for smaller, lightweight LED displays where traditional structures are not practical.

Hanging Mounts

A hanging mount suspends the sign from a canopy, awning, or overhead beam using chains or cables.

  • Common in indoor or semi-sheltered spaces such as storefront windows or covered entryways.

  • Not recommended for exposed outdoor areas, especially where wind loads are a concern.

Bracket Mounts

Bracket mounts secure the LED sign to an existing surface such as a wall, beam, or frame.

  • Works well for compact LED displays in doorways, shops, or building entrances.

  • Requires a solid, load-bearing surface to safely support the cabinet’s weight.

Key Considerations

  • Always confirm the supporting structure can handle the sign’s weight and wind load.

  • For large outdoor LED signs, pole, monument, or wall-mounted options are strongly recommended.

  • Hanging and bracket systems are niche solutions — useful for certain projects, but not as common for full-size outdoor signage.
